Guwahati – Kaziranga (200 km, 4 - 5 hrs) (By vehicle)After early morning breakfast we will start our journey to our next destination -Kaziranga on road which is 200 km from Guwahati. In the evening Jeep Safari in the National park. Stay overnight at Resort/Eco camp.

Kaziranga - Majuli. (By vehicle and ferry ride)Early morning transfer for Elephant Safari in the National Park. (Note: Elephant ride is subject to availability from the Forest Dept.) Post breakfast we will start our journey towards Majuli which is 140 km from Kaziranga. During the trip we will cross the mighty Brahmaputra on a ferry. Majuli is recognised by Guinness Book of World Records as World's Largest River Island. Mostly inhabited by Mishing (Miri) tribes, the culture of Majuli is unique, quite interesting and is one of the key reasons why people get attracted to this place. It is also called the cultural capital of Assam. Overnight stay in Majuli at the guest house/homestay run by locals.

Visit to Festival venue.After a leisurely breakfast, drive to the Kisama Village for the spectacular Hornbill Festival. Revel in this marvellous riot of colour as you watch all 16 tribes of Nagaland show off the rich fare of diverse cultures and traditional arts that is Nagaland. We will spend the whole day in The Naga Heritage Complex – venue for the Hornbill Festival. We shall also see shops where you can pick up souvenirs to take home for your dear ones.

Kohima and Khonoma Village.In the morning visit Khonoma Village, one of the most famous villages of Nagaland is known for being the last base of the Naga warriors rebelling against the British Empire. The hamlet is situated at a distance of 20 km from Kohima. Testimonies of the bygone years can be witnessed in traditionally carved gate, which provides access to the highest point of the village. Carved terraces in the hills draw the attention of the visitors, which are used for cultivation of 20 different types of paddy. In the afternoon visit 2nd World-War cemetery. War Cemetery is a historic site, which reminds of the brave warriors, who died during the Japanese Invasion at the time of World War II. This cemetery comprises around 1420 commonwealth funerals, which have stone markers on them. Commemorative inscribed bronze plate is placed over the burial of every warrior. This cemetery comprises around 1,100 British burials, 5 Canadian and 330 Indian burials. This cemetery preserves two prominent crosses at its highest and lowest points.
